Civil disobedience? Right or wrong?

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), a major backer of the House’s “Green New Deal,” hailed the movement, tweeting, “Activism disrupts the present to change the future.”

The climate change movement has captured the passion of the younger generation, created urgency, and forced the issue onto the political agenda. For these reasons, we have much to learn from them.

The fact is, historically, social reformers have often used civil disobedience and other non-violent disruptive tactics to draw attention to injustice.

During the late 1980’s and early 1990’s prolife activists under the auspices of Operation Rescue disobeyed authority and blocked the doors of abortion facilities to save children and draw attention to child killing. As a result, thousands of Christians were arrested and went to jail.

At its heart, Operation Rescue was repentance movement which called call the church to repent for the shedding of innocent blood.

Repentance is defined as “the activity of reviewing one's actions and feeling contrition or regret for past wrongs. It generally involves a commitment to personal change and resolving to live a more responsible and humane life.”

• Why did the rescue movement fail in its goal to end child killing?
• Have Christians lost their willing ness to sacrifice for the weak and defend truth?
• Why won’t Christians behave like abortion is murder?

Mark takes a walk down memory lane and explains why Operation Rescue failed and why the church is failing to end abortion killing today. 

Operation Rescue as a movement has ended. However, if we have a chance of winning, Christians need revive the spirit of rescue.

Debunking the Democrat Debate | The Mark Harrington Show | 11-21-19

The 5^th democrat presidential debate is in the books and despite past efforts to shield the candidate’s extreme views this time around the abortion debate took center stage. 

On today’s episode, Mark debunks each candidate’s arguments on abortion. 

Here a few lowlights of the debate:

Sen. Amy Klobachar wants to “codify Roe.”

Sen. Elizabeth Warren called abortion and “human and economic right” and said only “rich people will get abortions if it is banned.” She also beleives the government “should stay out of it.”

Sen. Bernie Sanders said, “men need to stand with women” so they can “control over their own bodies.”

Mark takes each one of these arguments and blows them apart!

Real Whistleblowers | The Mark Harrington Show | 11-13-19

The bogus impeachment enquiry has taught us a valuable lesson – in America there are two standards of justice: One standard for the protected elites and one for the rest of us.

A whistle-blower is a person who exposes any kind of information or activity that is deemed illegal, unethical, or not correct.

This could not be made more clear as the case against David Deleidon (a real whistleblower) and those who are part of the Center for Medical Progress went to trial over the last several weeks for their role in uncovering the sale of baby body parts by Planned Parenthood.

Right now, a fake whistle-blower who has no first-hand knowledge of wrongdoing by President Trump has thrown the congress (and the country) into a pseudo impeachment hearing while authentic investigative journalism of real atrocities gets ignored.

Sadly, in America, there is no justice or fairness.
