Lies, Lies, and more Lies: FX’s AKA Jane Roe is revisionist history – Interview with Fr. Frank Pavone | Mark Harrington Show | 5-21-20
"There is no way her Christian faith or her pro-life beliefs were false. The makers of 'AKA Jane Roe' should be ashamed that they took advantage of Norma in the vulnerable last days of her life, then released their spurious movie after she passed away when she could not defend herself."
These are the words of Troy Newman of Operation Rescue in response to the new documentary called AKA Jane Roe which focuses on the life of Norma McCorvey. Additionally, dozens of anti-abortion leaders have signed onto a letter refuting the spurious claims made in the film.
• Read the joint letter here: https://bit.ly/2AJbN1G
Norma McCorvey lived a difficult life and experienced many hardships. She struggled, but she never sought or committed an abortion despite her pro-abortion handlers. She regretted being manipulated in the case that ultimately carried her name. We know this because she said so, directly, to pro-life advocates. She carried her anti-abortion convictions with passion.

The bottom line is Jane Roe looks nothing like the woman portrayed in the FX documentary.
Today Mark interviews Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life, who wrote:
“I was privileged to be by her side for her journey of 22 years, from her baptism in 1995 to the day of her death in 2017. I led her through an intense spiritual and psychological healing process from the wounds she incurred in the abortion industry, had thousands of conversations and spent countless hours both in public and in private, for business and pleasure. The conversion and commitment, the agony and the joy I witnessed firsthand with her for 22 years was not a fake. There is 0% chance of that.”

Planned Parenthood is essential. Churches are not. How COVID 19 exposes the irrelevancy of the church | The Mark Harrington Show | 5-14-20
Heb 10:24-25 reads, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”
Despite that clear admonition from scripture, most churches across America remain closed due to the corona virus because of concerns over the health of their congregants. However, a few churches have been meeting despite direct orders in some states and recommendations not to in others. All the while Planned Parenthood, marijuana dispensaries, liquor stores, big box stores, and other retail establishments where large numbers of people gather and assemble remain open.
Why are most churches unwilling to meet?
On Today’s episode, Mark speaks with pastor Bill Dunfee of New Beginnings Ministries in Warsaw, Ohio whose congregation has been holding worship services throughout the COVID 19 pandemic. Pastor Bill will share how his church refuses to be labeled as non-essential.
The good news is other churches are beginning to follow suit and re-open. In fact, churches in California are planning to defy Gov. Gavin Newsome’s order and re-open on May 31. Read about this HERE: https://bit.ly/3bv0BT5
From the article:
“The clergy of this state are convinced that they must reopen their ministries to fully serve the needs of their communities,” they told the governor.
“The spiritual services of ministries are absolutely essential to the health and welfare of the people of California. Therefore, the religious leaders of California are coming together to make their voices heard in Sacramento. In times of national crisis, the clergy have a responsibility to lead.”
Are pastors being selfish for holding services? By not opening, are churches agreeing with being considered non-essential? Are the churches who meet disobeying the government? What about following Romans 13?
All these questions and more will be answered on The Mark Harrington Show.

Believe Women? How Roe v. Wade killed the #MeToo Movement | The Mark Harrington Show | 5-7-20
BREAKING NEWS: Legislature limits Ohio Health Director in issuing orders.
Joe Biden’s accuser Tara Reade is facing the former vice president’s presidential campaign and the Democratic establishment without the type of pro-bono legal and public relations support that Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford received.
Reade has accused Biden of kissing her, touching her and penetrating her with his fingers without her consent when she worked for him as a Senate staffer in 1993.
Both Biden and his campaign have denied Reade’s allegations several times, and Biden issued a request last Friday to Secretary of the Senate Julie Adams to locate and make public any complaint that Reade may have filed.
Question: Why aren’t the media, and the Democrats treating Tara Reade’s accusation as they did Christine Blasey Ford?
Answer: One word - abortion
On today’s episode, Mark demonstrates why the #MeToo movement is dead. Here is the evidence.
Planned Parenthood released a statement condemning Kavanaugh the same day Ford came forward with her allegations of sexual assault. The organization rallied behind Ford, organized a “National Walkout” to support her, created a promotional video criticizing Kavanaugh and issued repeated press releases and tweets praising Ford’s courage.
The National Abortion Right’s Action League (NARAL) and Emily’s List released a joint statement on Friday following Biden’s appearance on MSNBC that emphasized the importance of recognizing survivors and criticized President Donald Trump. But the joint statement did not detail Reade’s allegations.
This debate is about the next election, the most critical in our lifetime. Voters have a choice between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, whose actions have cost lives through this pandemic, who wants to end Roe v. Wade, who is constantly undermining our democracy, who has tried to rip away healthcare from millions, who has put children in cages and torn families apart, and more.
Roe v. Wade has reaped havoc on millions of unborn children. But children are not the only victims – women are too. Why? Because pro-abortion politicians are free to assault women with little to no repercussions. Abortion pressure groups fund their campaigns and look away when women come forward with accusations of sexual assault because they want to preserve the “right to choose.”
Additionally, Roe v. Wade gives men a pass for mistreating women instead of honoring them for being make in the image of God. Abortion does not liberate women. Abortion enslaves women. With abortion men can act irresponsibly and even violently and compel women to abort the baby if they get pregnant. That is not freedom.
