Recent decisions continue to indicate that the US Supreme Court is unlikely to cease its pattern of legislating from the bench. Rather than permitting the US Congress or state legislatures to make law, they are usurping the separation of powers doctrine. American government no longer has three equal branches. We have one branch, the judiciary, that has become a super-legislature.
Do these recent decisions give us an indication of how the SCOTUS will rule in future cases? What about the upcoming June Medical v. Russo case?
This law, the Unsafe Abortion Protection Act (Act 620), authored by House Rep. Katrina Jackson (D-LA), would require doctors operating out of abortion clinics in Louisiana to have hospital admitting privileges within a 30-mile radius of the facility—a standard protocol for any outpatient surgical facility.

As riots, violence, and looting rule our cities some of the anarchists are invoking the name of Dr. King to support their criminal activity.
A common King phrase used by these lawbreakers to support their rioting is, “a riot is the language of the unheard.” But put in the context of the entire interview Dr. King was condemning rioting not condoning it.

The ACLU has withdrawn its lawsuit against seven cities in Texas that have enacted ordinances outlawing abortion within city limits. Each of these seven cities has also proclaimed itself a Sanctuary City for the Unborn, joining a movement that is spreading across the state of Texas. The ACLU’s decision to withdraw its lawsuit comes less than three months after it sued these cities over their decision to ban abortion within city borders.
On Today’s show Mark interviews Mark Lee Dickson of Right to Life of East Texas, who drafted the ordinances and is leading the Sanctuary Cities for the Unborn movement.
As expected, these strong and enforceable ordinances have successfully withstood legal scrutiny. Dickson says that the ACLU’s decision to withdraw its lawsuit means that other cities can enact these ordinances without fear of an adverse court ruling. Dickson promises that more cities will enact sanctuary ordinances in the months ahead.
