On today’s show, Mark will discuss the RNC and the claim that President Trump is the most pro-life president in history.

As the GOP wraps up their convention, one may ask where is the priority on outlawing abortion?

In the last several days, we have heard from several prolife advocates. One notable presentation was from Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood director.

Among others, Americans heard from Nick Sandemann, and Sister Dede Byrne. Sister Byrne gave a powerful defense of life.

Pro-life speeches at the RNC are important but the actions of the administration are even more vital.

Anti-abortion activists often say Donald Trump is the “most pro-life president in history.” Compared to whom? However, out of Team Trump’s 50 “core priorities and goals” there is not a single mention of the protection of preborn children or abolishing abortion.

Here is a quick review of President Trump’s record on abortion:

• Cut $60M in funding for Planned Parenthood.
• Nominated two justices to the US Supreme Court.
• Restored the Mexico City Policy which prevents tax funds from being given to organizations that perform abortions.

But is this record adequate to earn the vote of pro-lifers?

There was a time when Democrats were pro-life. There was a time when Democrats opposed tax funded abortions. There was time when Democrats thought abortion should be “safe, legal, and rare.”  Sadly, those days are long gone!

 

This year’s party platform doesn’t include any of the language regarding abortion of past platforms.

From August 13-18 Created Equal traveled to Milwaukee, WI for the Democrat national Convention (DNC). Despite the DNC being virtual there were hundreds of people to reach with the truth.

The Black Lives Matter Foundation (BLM) demands “reproductive justice” and the Democratic platform promotes tax-payer funding of abortion through all nine months of pregnancy. We demonstrated that the BLM Foundation and the Democratic Party don’t care about hundreds of thousands of black lives: namely, all the unborn Black babies that Planned Parenthood and other abortionists kill every year. 

 

Our purpose is to expose the blatant hypocrisy of Black Lives Matter and the Democratic Party, which both say they care about black lives.

 

Here are some shocking FACTS about abortion and the African American community:

 

• While blacks make up 13% of the total U.S. population, they account for close to 40% of all abortions in the country.
• A Black baby is 25 times more likely to be killed than a white baby.
• Nationally, black women have the highest ratio of abortions to live births (474 abortions per 1,000 live births) of any group in the country.

Joe Biden + Kamala Harris = A Match Made in Hell | The Mark Harrington Show | 8-13-20

As I predicted many months ago, Sen. Kamala Harris is Joe Biden’s pick for VP. Harris is an attack dog who possesses the energy that Biden lacks. However, she has her own baggage. Among other things, she is rabidly pro-abortion and anti-Catholic. Apparently, these two rivals have buried the ax and come together as a match made in hell. Here is short review of her record:

• Kamala Harris is an anti-life, anti-Catholic fanatic.
• Kamala Harris supports abortion till the moment of birth.
• Kamala Harris supports infanticide and refuses to protect newborn babies who survive abortions.
• Kamala Harris vows to force Americans to pay for abortions with their hard-earned tax dollars.
• Kamala Harris will work with Joe Biden to force the Little Sisters of the Poor and other worthy pro-life organizations to include abortion in their health insurance.
• Kamala Harris is a puppet of Planned Parenthood.
• Kamala Harris took $81,000 in campaign contributions from no fewer than five Planned Parenthood clinics that were breaking the law and selling harvested body parts from aborted babies for profit. Harris protected this criminal activity.
• Kamala Harris, when attorney general of California, authorized the raid of David Daleiden’s home and orchestrated the legal proceedings against him for daring to expose Planned Parenthood’s criminal activity.
• During the Senate confirmation hearings after President Trump nominated Brian Buescher to sit on the U. S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, Harris grilled him over his membership in the Knights of Columbus.

Next week, Joe Biden will accept the Democrat nomination for president. As part of his campaign he has been appealing to “people of faith.” Recently, former Ohio governor John Kasich endorsed him as a “deep man of faith.” Kasich will also speak at the Dem National Convention.

On this episode, Mark will analyze the positions of the Biden/Harris ticket and answer the question; can a Christian vote for them?
